My baby had her first birthday two weeks ago - where did that year go?
We were over whelmed with the amount of presents she recieved from friends and family - she is a very lucky and well loved little girl.
I wanted to send out some special Thank You cards so turned to my new love of paper craft to help me create them.
I started off with an A4 sheet of cream paper with I randomly stamped all over with one of the stamps in the Stampin' Up Flower Shop stamp set in three different colours.
I then cut the A4 sheet into 4 and slightly trimmed again so I could mount it on an card base made from half a sheet of A4 card stock in a vibrant yellow.
I then mounted a small picture of Eva on top of a small peice of yellow card stock and centred this on the stamped sheet. How cute is she! I love this picture although Christian thinks she looks like she has a palm tree coming out of her head!
The 'Thank You' message is a HobbyCraft stamp stamped on a scrap of cream paper.
I finished it off my punching out one of the flowers using the coordinating Pansy punch - also from Stampin' Up.
Everything is flat on this card as I was going to be sending them by Royal Mail so didn't want to risk dimensionals.
Really happy with the card and it was actually really easy to duplicate.
I'm posting them out tomorrow - I'll look forward to the responses from out family and friends, hope they like them!
