Stampin' Up UK, Wedding Thank You!

Stampin' Up UK, Wedding Thank You!

As you may remember I was married several weeks ago, you can read more about it HERE.

Last weekend I decided it was time to get our fingers out and make our thank you cards. With over 60 to make - they needed to be easily replicated, my initial idea of a complex double slider card with two photos just wasn't going to be practical.

This card was so simple to make, we made them all in just over an hour! Speed crafting with a very efficient production line!

The card matches our silver and navy colour scheme using smokey slate and night of navy card stock.

The stamp set is so pretty, not much more additional decoration was needed on the card just a few rhinestones for a bit of added bling.

All our generous guests should have recieved the cards by now so I can share the design with you all.

It actually made a nice change to all the Christmas crafting I've been doing recently.

New customers placing their first order with me in January get a fantastic 10% off - no catches, as simple as that! Orders need to be placed through me rather than on line so please, get in touch.

Stampin' Up UK, Simply Stars Sassy Christmas Gift Wrap

Stampin' Up UK, Simply Stars Sassy Christmas Gift Wrap

I have said this before but I'll say it again, I LOVE making my own wrapping paper! I bought a huge roll of brown paper in Tesco's a while ago and I think I have used it to wrap every present I've given since then!

Today's present is for a secret santa (hopefully they don't read my blog!). When I was pregnant with Eva I met a lovely group of ladies whom where also expecting babies around the same time. We keep in regular touch and last year came up with the idea of a secret santa rather than having to buy for each baby - such a good idea.

The brown paper is stamped randomly using the great Simply Stars set, another new purchase of mine, in cherry cobbler and crumb cake. I really like this set, it is excellent value and I see a lot of uses for this, not just for Christmas.
I've then wrapped the parcel in the lovely cherry cobbler chevron ribbon and the whole package is finished off with a simple tag using the sentiment from the Sassy Salutation set - told you before this would be getting a lot of use - I love it!

I would love to share the wonderful world of Stampin Up with you - if you're in the South Manchester area drop me a line about hosting a party. As always you can shop on line 24/7 in my on-line store here!

Remember all orders placed in December will get a special extra present from me!

Stampin Up UK, Winter Frost Card

Stampin Up UK, Winter Frost Card

Yesterday I shared with you all this lovely gift box and matching card I made to give my team their Christmas presents in. If you want to know more about the box, head back to yesterdays post here!

This card was so simple to make, I whipped them all out in double quick time :)

The base is pool party which I have layered up with whisper white card stock and a peice of the Winter Frost Designer Series Paper.

I've stamped the lovely sentiment using the Sassy Salutations stamp set - this is a new set for me and very much a favourite, I can't believe I took so long to order it, certainly going to be well used in future.

I firstly used the smokey slate chevron ribbon to hide the gap between the whisper white card stock and the DSP but it just didn't work, so I swapped it for the pool party seam binding ribbon - so much better I think - do you agree?

Here is the box and the card together. The card is 7cm by 14cm, the same size as the box. Hope my team enjoy their gifts :)

If you want to make boxes like this yourself, you can buy everything you need 24/7 by hopping over to my on-line store HERE or drop me a line in person and I'd be delighted to help.

Stampin' Up UK, Winter Frost Gift Box and Matching Card

Stampin' Up UK, Winter Frost Gift Box and Matching Card

I have a small team in my day job that support me in a lot of admin tasks who really do make my life so much easier when I'm travelling the world doing my stuff - they don't read my blog - but if they might in future; thank you ladies. I wanted to get them a small gift for Christmas to show my appreciation.

This is the little box I made this afternnon to give them the gift in. They really took no time at all and I think, gives a lot more wow factor to a simple gift.

The box measures 14cm by 7cm and is just 3cm deep. The base is pool party and the lid is smoky slate covered with some of the lovely Winter Frost designer series paper.

I made a belly band from pool party too and then wrapped some of the gorgeous smoky slate chevron ribbon round the belly band - this ribbon has grown on me so much, I thought it was too much when I first saw it but now - love love love!

In side I popped a gorgeous little soap - smells amazing and a little Lindt Christmas chocolate, I don't know anybody who doesn't like Lindt and I have to admit that I need to buy another one tomorrow as the five I bought have somehow become four -oops!

I also made a matching card - come back tomorrow to read more about that!

If you want to make boxes like this yourself, you can buy everything you need 24/7 by hopping over to my on-line store HERE or drop me a line in person and I'd be delighted to help.

Stampin' Up UK, A Mosaic Madness Christmas!

Stampin' Up UK, A Mosaic Madness Christmas!

I ran my first party recently, it was for new stampers and I wanted to show them how versitile Stampin' Up products are so they can get a lot of different looks from one set. They asked for Christmas Cards so I decided to show a stamp set which isn't a real Christmas set.

I went with the Mosaic Madness - a set I wasn't sold on immediately but now absolutely love!

The mosaic pieces look like perfect little christmas ornaments.

Here they are suspended on the lovely Cherry Cobbler bakers twine hidden by a little of the matching Cherry Cobbler chevron ribbon.  Each of the ladies made their own version of this card and all were very impressed by just how simple it was! The matching punch is great for new crafters.

We then moved on to this card, I admit to seeing a similar version on Pinterest which inspired me.

A selection of different stamps from the Mosaic Madness set were stamped using three different shades of green ink. We then punched them out with matching punch and layered them up using dimensionals to create the card you can see above. The pot is just hand cut from card stock.

We added a few rhinestones to lift the card - it is Christmas afterall!

I also showed them a selection of other cards you can make using this set - check out an old blog post here. It really is a very versatile set - highly recommended for Christmas and beyond!

If you are interested in holding a crafting party for you and your friends, do not hesitate to get in touch with me.

If you'd like to have a go at making these cards at home yourself, you can drop me a line or shop 24/7 via my online shop HERE!

Stampin' Up UK, Papillon Potpourri Gift Wrap AGAIN!

Stampin' Up UK, Papillon Potpourri Gift Wrap AGAIN!

I think I am slightly addicted to making gift wrap. I've always resented spending so much on fancy wrapping paper only to have it torn off in a few seconds!

I love making my own wrapping paper - it is so easy and so cheap!

This uses the very versitile Papillon Potpourri stamp set and just one colour - Real red.

The present if for Eva's Danish Grandmother - Farmor is the Danish name for Grandma, it literally translates to Father's Mother.

I made the tag by layering up very vanilla on real red card stock and stamped Farmor using the Morning Post Alphabet set.

The little embelishment on the end is made using the two coordinating punches. I firstly stamped and then punched the larger butterfly and then layered it up with the smaller butterfly simply punched from real red card stock.

The whole think is tied up using the very versitile cherry cobbler baker's twine.

The present - a framed photo of one of Eva's paintings. I nice little thank you present as she looked after Eva while we were both on business trips last week - Thank you Farmor; hope you like it :)

I now have an online store so you can buy direct from me 24/7 follow the link before, you can also contact me directly as always if you'd prefer.

All December orders get a little extra Christmas Present from me :)
