Stampin' Up UK, Tag Topper Box
I shared this little box on facebook yesterday with some crafting friends and got a great response and requests for a tutorial - so here goes, watch the video and see the instructions below
Start with a peice of card stock, 25cm by 15 cm or 10 inches by 6 inches
Score along the long side at 2cm, 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, 20cm and 23cm; 3/4inch, 2inch, 4inch, 6inch, 8 inch and 9 and 1/4inch.
Score along the short side at 5cm and 10cm; 2inch and 4inch.
It should look something like this:
You then need to cut along the score lines I have highlighted in white in the picture below:
You should end up with a box net which looks like this:
Next, punch the ends of the longest section using the wonderful Scallop Tag Topper Punch from Stampin Up - click HERE to head over to my on-line shop if you need to buy one - and remember my FREE INK offer at the bottom of my blog for all purchases!
I then trimmed down the side flaps slightly to make assembly that little bit easier:
You can then fold your box up, I used Tombow glue to seal it closed.
I decorated mine using 4 peices of DSP, this one is lovely and is from the new Watercolour wonder set from Stampin' Up. The pieces are 4.5cm by 4.5cm. The little flower is actually not stamped, I just punched out one of the flower centers from the DSP and topped it with a lovely pearl. I tied this one closed with some silver ribbon.
I'd love to see your versions - happy crafting!
