Handmade Chunky Card Gift Box Tutorial with Stampin' Up Painted Petals and Petal Potpourri

Handmade Chunky Card Gift Box Tutorial with Stampin' Up Painted Petals and Petal Potpourri

If you have been reading my blog and watching my YouTube videos recently you'll know I've been making quite a few gift boxes for sets of hand made cards.

Well I recently made some cards which had quite a few layers and embellishments and wanted to make a box which would comfortably fit these without squishing them.

This box is 2inches wide at the base but it is pretty much filled by just four cards with lots of layers.

I made the version with Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss first and then I wanted to make a brighter, bolder version which is where the Marina Mist and Real Red version came in - with just a hint of crushed curry. The video to make it is here:

I love this ghost shadow technique with the painted petals - I have a YouTube video showing how to do this.

Neither the Painted Petals set or the Petal Potpourri stamp sets have made it into the new annual catalogue so they will disappear when the season finished in June.

If these have been on your wish list for a while, buy them now before they disappear for ever!

It would be my pleasure to help you order any Stampin' Up products.
