Large Gift Bag Tutorial with Bohemian DSP from Stampin' Up, Bohemian DSP

Large Gift Bag Tutorial with Bohemian DSP from Stampin' Up, Bohemian DSP

I am not a massive DSP user, all sorts of reasons but I rarely buy packs of 12 x 12 DSP, but when I saw the new Bohemian papers I knew these would end up in my basket. I mean, come on, how pretty are these papers? I am loving the big bold patterns and bright colours.

These bags are super, super sized, super strong and most importantly super easy!

They measure 7 inches high, 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep - pretty big really.

I've used the Gold Sequin Trim to make the handles for the bag and added a little 'thanks from the Hello There Thinlits using the Gold Foil card stock. I think these go really well with the bold colours of the bag.

They went down very well with my very girly 2 year old who just loves bags of any type - I think this will be expensive as she gets older! Here she is trying to run off with them both.

If you'd like to give this a go yourself, here is a short video tutorial.

If you are based in the Manchester area and would like to hear more about, Stampin' Up, hosting a party or the great discounts available by becoming a Stampin' Up demonstrator, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Dimensions:

Score one side of DSP at 2 inches, score remaining 3 at 3 inches.

Card stock to reinforce measures 2 7/8 inch by 5 7/8 inch.

  2. I made a few of these bags. They went over great! Now Im ready to make even bigger bag. My problem is I would not know what dimensions to use for a larger bag using a 12x12. I tried two different dimensions and always fell short. Is there any to make a bigger bag with 1 12x12? I'd appreciate it, if it is possible. Thank you
