Watercolor Wings Card Showcase Tutorial, Stampin Up UK Watercolour Wings

Watercolor Wings Card Showcase Tutorial, Stampin Up UK Watercolour Wings

Big thank you to everybody that has been getting in touch these last few days to tell be home much they have enjoyed my recent Watercolor Wings cards.

It is a gorgeous set!

As requested I have made a quick video to show you exactly how this fantastic stamp set works.

It really is as simple as picking three complimentary colours and stampin' away! I've tried lots of combinations and have yet to find one that doesn't really work. Just make sure the colours get progressively darker and you are onto a winner.

I really like the way the butterflys wrap around this card, as I say in the video my husband isn't a fan, he said it looks like I ran out of space - no it was purposeful!
What do you think?

Colour Combinations are:
Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Blackberry Bliss
Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry
Daffodil Delight, Delightful Dijon and Tangelo Twist
So Saffron, Mint Macaron, Cucumber Crush
Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo
Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Cucumber Crush

  1. I think you did a great job. I also like that it wraps around. It wouldn't be handmade if it didn't have an ink dot. I always say it's a good place for a tiny sticker.

  2. I love the way the butterfly wraps around the card. I love the colour combinations of the butterflies. I've tried a few combinations for the body but I think black or chocolate chip look the best.
