Slide on lid Gift Box, Card Set Tutorial using Flower Patch from Stampin' Up

Slide on lid Gift Box, Card Set Tutorial using Crazy About You from Stampin' Up

As you know, I love creating card sets and today's project is originally designed to hold the set of notecards I shared with you yesterday, but this box is so pretty I think you could use it to gift a lot of other things too.

The lid and the base of the box are pretty much the same size, the lid is just a tiny bit bigger so that it can slide on really snuggly. You do need to use a trimmer to do the scoring however in order to get that really tight slide on fit.

There is quite a lot of scoring involved but I hope you agree the results are certainly worth it.

I really love the way this set has worked out. The simple, single image from Flower Patch is so striking and, you know how I love Blackberry Bliss - It is an in-colour from Stampin' Up so will probably retire next year :( what am I going to do? If you haven't tried this colour yet then you really should.

Hope you enjoy the video and as always, I love seeing your versions.
