Wine Bottle Gift Box Tutorial - Using Flowering Flourished by Stampin' Up
We we're going away recently and a good friend offered to look after Eva's goldfish. Yes, Humphry who she won at the fair a good few months ago is still going strong.
I wanted to give them the thank you gift when we dropped him off, because well, he is a goldfish and you know....
The only thing was it was a really hectic week in the run up to our trip and didn't really have time to buy them something.
Wine to the rescue. We really like wine in our house so always have a few decent giftable bottles knocking around.
Only problem is that coming up with a nice way of wrapping a full size bottle of wine can be tough for a crafter.
Unless you want to start sticking peices of card together - it can be difficult to pull off.
Today's project uses a single sheet of 12 by 12 card stock to make a gorgeous wrap-around box.
I've used Night of Navy Card Stock and Whisper White stamped randomly with Flowering Flourishes from Stampin' Up.
I was inspired by an old Danish blog - you can view the original here http://litenpus.blogspot.co.uk/search?updated-max=2011-08-14T16:35:00%2B02:00&max-results=7
It went down really well so must have done something right.
Here is the video tutorial if you'd like to give it a try yourself, which I hope you do.
