Double Flip Gift Box with Watercolor Wings, Video Tutorial using Watercolor Wings by Stampin' Up

Double Flip Gift Box with Watercolor Wings, Video Tutorial using Watercolor Wings by Stampin' Up

Good morning everybody - all being well today I will be travelling from Tampa, Florida to Greensboro, North Carolina but as Tuesday is a video day I wanted to do a scheduled post for you and share this little box I made recently.

I've used Watercolor Wings, possibly my favourite stamp set ever, to make a cute little feature of the closure. I have a video on 'how to' use this stamp set HERE

I really struggled to get a good picture of it but centre of the butterflies are heat embossed.

My colour combinations are So Saffron and Smoky Slate with the butterfly stamped in So Saffron and Delightful Dijon and heat embossed in Silver.

I have also used Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe with the butterfly stamped in the same colours and then heat embossed in Gold.

The box is a really good size and could fit a lot inside.

Enjoy the video and as always if you do give it a go, I'd love to see your version.

  1. Hi Caroline, I discovered your blog a couple of weeks ago, and have enjoyed catching up with some of your projects. Love the box you made today, I have been crafting along with you, just on some plain card to make a template (so I know how to make it properly at a later date - I always forget where to cut otherwise!) Thank you for sharing your ideas and tips. Love the video tutorials - once again, thanks very much! Karen x

  2. Hello Caroline
I found your blog sometime back and I just love all the darling boxes and gifts you have created. I can't wait to try and make some of them myself. I wished I lived in the UK as there seem to be a lot of very crafty talented people like yourself there and coming to your classes would be wonderful. Thank you for sharing your talented with us not so gifted crafters!!
