New Baby Thank You Cards using Brushwork Alphabet by Stampin' Up

New Baby Thank You Cards using Brushwork Alphabet by Stampin' Up

We felt completely overwhelmed by love and good wishes following Alex's arrival last month.

Thank you to everybody that has send me a message of congratulations - it really means so much and I am incredibly touched.

I wanted to send some cards out to family and friends to say thank you for all the lovely cards and presents we were inundated with.

Now, for a little confession, in the fuzzy first few sleep deprieved weeks of being a new mum again, I actually considered buying some cards to send !!!!!

I really liked the cards that used a photo montage but gosh - were they expensive. I just couldn't bring myself to buy some.

I decided to try and replicate the look myself.

I put together a montage of some of our favourite pictures using a free App and then printed these off onto photo paper.

The picture was matted on Pool Party card stock on a Bermuda Bay card base.

I inked up my new Brushwork Alphabet stamp set for the first time to print the word Alex.

I must say I am really loving this stamp set - very easy to line up the letters and the result is very elegant.

I fussy cut out his name - popped it up on dimensionals in the middle of the picture and voila, 20 personal thank you cards in less than an hour at a fraction of the cost of buying them ready made.

If you would like to order any Stampin' Up products click HERE and head over to my online store or get in touch directly, it would be my pleasure and honour to help.
