Falling Flowers Large Gift Bag with Magnetic Closure - Video tutorial using Stampin' Up products.

Falling Flowers Large Gift Bag with Magnetic Closure - Video tutorial using Stampin' Up products.

I've decided to take a break from all the recent Christmas projects. I just fancied having a play with some of my older sets and I caught myself singing Carols in the supermarket this week so need to reign in the Christmas spirit a bit!

I found myself reaching for Falling Flowers which I haven't used for a good few months and this rather large gift bag was what I came up with.

There is a magnet hidden under the flower embelishment which is made using the matching May Flower framelits.

There is something quite satisfying about the way the magnet snaps the bag closed.

I made a Bermuda Bay version initially and the a Real Red version in the video.

Speaking of the video - click HERE to see how I made this - it is pretty simple I think.

  2. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I am working with my friend who owns an aromatherapy shop to make gift bags/boxes on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This is "Shop Locally Day". This bag is perfect for 2-3 of her smaller items. Watch for photos.

  4. The red rose was one of the most popular flower in that time because it symbolized love. This is the reason why in courting, men would usually give a bouquet of red rose to the woman, as a way to symbolize his love for her. Send flowers
