Gift Tag set using Tin of Tags and Stitched Shape Framelits from Stampin' Up

Gift Tag set using Tin of Tags and Stitched Shape Framelits from Stampin' Up

I wanted to mix up the colours from the traditional Christmas reds and greens today so have gone for Smoky Slate and Marina mist to make this lovely little gift tag set. If like me, you're still making stock for Christmas Markets, hopefully these will be a popular seller.

The gift wallet holds 6 layered gift tags. I've used the Layering Circle framelit dies which work beautifully with the new Stitched Shapes framelit dies.

Now a little word of warning about the Stitched Shapes framelits - as you know SU launched these early as they are so gorgeous. Well, it turns out everybody thinks they are gorgeous and we have sold several months worth of stock in just a few weeks!!!

Stampin' Up therefore need some time to replenish their supplies so after Monday 21st November it will not be possible to order these dies for a unknown period.

We're not sure how long it will be but it could be a while before they can be ordered again. If you want to get your hands on these dies, I would recommend you order them before Monday or you could be in for a long wait.

Anyway - back to todays project. The sentiments are stamped using my ever favourite set, Tin of Tags. I just can not get enough of this set, it is so versatile and lots of the sentiments will work all year around!

I love it even more at the moment as there is a fantastic 25% off until the end of the month.

I hope you like this project and of course, I had to put a little video together for you showing how they are made.

Card Stock: 6 by 8-1/2 inches
Score the long side at 2-3/4 and 5-5/8 inches
Score the short side at 1/4 and 5 inches

  1. Adorable tags! I love this set too!

  2. The above measurements are incorrect. The short side should be 1-1/4 inch, not 1/4. I am very new to crafting and didn't catch the mistake until I used all my paper, very disappointed that I didn't catch it sooner. I do love the tags, you make it look so simple.
