Flowering Flourishes - Happy Retirement

Stampin' Up launch a brand new catalogue every June and in order to make way for all of the fabulous new products coming our way unfortunately some items have to be retired.

Every year I have mixed feelings when the list of retiring products come out - inevitably there are some items I am so sad to see go - but it is always exciting to have lovely new goodies to look forward to.

Click on the picture below to see a full list of retiring products - there are some great bargains on there.

This year however, I am very sad to see Flowering Flourishes, one of my most used stamp sets retire. This is certainly a set I will be keeping hold of and if you don't already have a set, grab one now before it disappears.

I thought I would share with you some of my favourite projects using this gorgeous set with you today so you can see just how versatile it is. I will miss it so much.

A Special Project That Has Been Taking All My Energy!

I wanted to start by thanking everybody who has sent good wishes over the last few months while I have been very quiet.

Apologies if I worried some of you - I have however been working on a very special creative project that has been taking all of my energy.

It is still a work in progress but here is the most recent photo I have, I believe it should be ready by early July.

We are all very excited about meeting our little man - yes, I couldn't resist finding out and it is going to be a boy.

Eva (my 3 year old daughter) was initially not very impressed by the idea of a brother but now she is probably the most excited.

After sailing through my first pregnancy, this one has been a bit of a surprise, I've struggled with sickness, fatigue and lots of aches.

Working full time and trying to be a good wife and mummy meant something just had to give and SU was it.

My crafting mojo also seemed to vanish. I did try and keep making videos but I just couldn't seem to come up with any projects that I felt were worthy of sharing with you all. Maybe one day I will share the substandard videos with you all - when my confidence is a little higher.

To be honest, I actually thought about resigning as a demo recently but I do love SU and recently my mojo has started to come back. The decision was finalised for me yesterday when I saw the new annual catalogue - which launches in early June - it is amazing and I am actually itching to get crafting again.

I hope to get some videos filmed for you very soon and to be back blogging regularly and sharing my creativity with you all.

Huge thank you to everybody that has continued to support me and my business over the last few months during my 'absence'. You don't know how much it has meant.
