Simple Handmade Paper Bag Gift Bag Using Swirly Bird by Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

Simple Handmade Paper Bag Gift Bag - Video Tutorial

Thanks everybody for your kind comments on the box I shared with you on Friday, designed using the new In-colours to send out thank you gifts to my customers. If you missed that video, click HERE to view.

As mentioned, I made some matching but simple packaging for the card stock, ribbon and DSP samples I also sent to all the ladies.

I went for a very simple design using super cheap brown wrapping paper to make a bag but the added matching tag really elevates its all.

I am really loving the new Swirly Bird Stamp Set at the moment - it is so, so versatile! The number of looks you can get from this set is amazing!

I filmed a super quick Video on how I made the bag.

Hope you find it useful.

REMEMBER - THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF THE TWO CURRENT CATALOGUES - IF YOU HAVE YOUR EYE ON A BUNDLE OR WANT TO STOCK UP ON CARD STOCK BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP TOMORROW MAKE SURE YOU DO IT TODAY.

If you would like to order any Stampin' Up products click HERE and head over to my online store or get in touch directly, it would be my pleasure and honour to help.

Swirly Bird Slide on Lid Gift Box and Matching Card Using Stampin' Up Products - Video Tutorial

Swirly Bird Slide on Lid Gift Box and Matching Card Using Stampin' Up Products

Each month I love sending out a little thank you gift to all the customers that have shopped Stampin' Up with me the previous month. The hostess code helps me do this, it is displayed in the top right hand corner of my blog, please remember to add this at check out if you can.

I also always try and make some handmade packaging for the gift as well.

This month's gift was a teasing introduction to some of the new products launching in the new catalogue on June 1st - click HERE for a copy if you don't already have one.

I sent each customer a selection of card blanks and ribbons in the new in-colours, a selection of paper from the new DSP stack, Playful Palette and a hand held mini-stapler.

I designed a little box to hold the stapler, featuring the new in-colours and a brand new Stamp Set - Swirly Bird.

If you'd like to see how the box works, the lid slides on and off and how to make your own, I've a YouTube VIDEO for you.

And of course I needed to make a matching card for each customer and some packaging for the card stock, ribbons and DSP, I will share those with you soon.

If you would like to order any Stampin' Up products click HERE and head over to my online store or get in touch directly, it would be my pleasure and honour to help.

Chocolate Treat Gift Pouch using Playful Palette DSP from Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

New Stampin' Up Catalogue

It is now just a few days until the brand new annual Stampin' Up catalogue launches.

I am so excited about being finally able to get my hands on lots of brilliant new goodies. It honestly is a fab catalogue and it is responsible in a big way for me getting crafty mojo back :)

As I said yesterday, I've did send copies of the new catalogues last week to everybody that has shopped with me in the last 3 months as well as everybody that has requested one - apologies again if yours was in French.

English versions are on their way this week!

With each catalogue I included a little book mark showing the five new fabulous in-colours and the gorgeous new matching ruffled ribbon plus a little mini-bar of chocolate wrapped up in the new DSP stack, Playful Pallette.

Something to nibble on while browsing your catalogue - I know these went down pretty well - who doesn't love Chocolate? It was a real challenge for me not to eat these as I was wrapping them!

If you'd like to see how I made the little chocolate wrap - I have a video for you HERE

If you don't already have a SU demo and would like to recieve a copy of the catalogue - click HERE to request one.

Parlez-vous français?

Parlez-vous français?

Well - I thought I was being super organised last week and packed up and posted out a load of new catalogues.

Only problem was, I noticed too late that I had a rouge batch of French language catalogues in there - when I say noticed, it was pointed out to me by several lovely people when they received their French version.

I'm blaming baby brain!

SU have shipped a load of new catalogues in English to me and they should arrive tomorrow.

If you've already let me know that you received a French version, then a new English will be winging its way to you later this week.

If you received a French version and were just being lovely and not letting me know about my mistake - please do get in touch and let me know so I can correct the mistake and get you a version you can understand.

If you would like to receive a copy of the catalogue, please click on this LINK to send me your details and it would be my pleasure to send one out to you.

Handmade Card Gift Set using Rose Wonder by Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

Handmade Card Gift Set using Rose Wonder by Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

For my first video tutorial in a while I thought I would go back to my roots - the thing that got me into designing boxes in the first place, card gift sets.

Today's box would make a lovely gift set, it holds full sizes A6/A2 cards and their envelopes, some mini 3inch by 3 inch cards and some handmade tags.

I've decorated the box using the beautiful Rose Garden Thinlits to decorate the box - how beautiful are these thinlits, I love them and the matching stamp set, Rose Wonder.

Both have rolled over to the new catalogue BUT they won't be available as a bundle after 1st June.

That sounds like a great excuse to scoop them up now while you get a fantastic 15% off the combined price.

Here is a little sneak peak of some of the cards and tags I made to go inside. I will show you them all in a bit more details tomorrow.

Well you came for the video HERE it is. I hope you enjoy it. It feels great to be back and getting ideas out of my head and into reality.

If you give this box a go, I'd love to see your versions.

If you would like to order any Stampin' Up products click HERE and head over to my online store or get in touch directly, it would be my pleasure and honour to help.

Rose Wonder Handmade Cards Using Rose Garden by Stampin' Up

Rose Wonder Handmade Cards Using Rose Garden by Stampin' Up

Thank you all so much for the lovely feedback on yesterday's video. I'm really pleased you all like it so much. It does feel great to be crafting again.

If you missed yesterday's video, click HERE to watch it now.

As promised, today I am going to give you a closer look at some of the cards I made to go in the box.

As I said yesterday, I love the Rose Wonder stamp set and Rose Garden Thinlets. It is only available as a bundle with 15% off both items until the end of May so if it has been on your wish list for a while, now is the time to grab it before the fabulous offer ends.

This die and stamp set is so beautiful, even the simplest of cards look stunning.

This set also has some fabulous sentiments and I love the matching framelit for the border around the sentiments.

Where's the video Caroline??

I know I had mentioned to a lot of you that I hoped to have a brand new video tutorial uploaded for you today......

.......well........

I feel a bit like the school pupil who has forgotton their homework but I don't have a video ready to share :(

I have been crafting away for a few weeks now and have a great pipeline of projects to share with you all. It feels soooooooo good to be crafting again. My creative mojo is certainly back. Here is the state of my desk last week to prove it.

I was planning to film these all on Wednesday but when I dug my camera out I could not find the battery charger anywhere - trust me I have spent many hours searching all the usual and unusual place - I do have a three year old so the unusual hiding places have become the usual these days too.

But no luck - it seems to have vanished.

I bit the bullet and ordered a new one from Amazon yesterday which should be here today.

And I should therefore have a video to share with you next week.

Sorry :(

Have a great weekend everybody

Caroline
