Swirly Bird Gift Bag Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up UK products.

Swirly Bird Gift Bag Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up UK products.

Two lovely members of my Stampin' Up team recently hit milestones with their sales and I wanted to send them out a little gift and card to say well done.

Of course I had to make some special packaging for the gift and I found myself reaching for Swirly Bird again to decorate these cute gift bags and cards.

I really do like this set, and the matching framelits are so pretty and versatile.

I used two different colour combos, Sweet Sugarplum with Flirty Flamingo and Dapper Denim with Soft Sky.

Stamp Set Wrap - Video Tutorial using Falling Flowers by Stampin' Up - DVD Wrapper Box

Stamp Set Wrap - Video Tutorial using Falling Flowers by Stampin' Up - DVD Wrapper Box

You all know that I love the new Falling Flowers Stamp set so when I was designing the packaging for this months Thank You gift it was the one I found myself reaching for again.

Every month I send out a little thank you gift to everybody that has shopped with me the previous month. I use the hostess rewards to help me do this - read more about it all HERE

This month each customer recieved a hostess exclusive Stamp Set and a set of the gorgeous new enamel accents.

The wrap I created uses Pear Pizzazz, Rose Red and a hint of Wisteria Wonder to create a handstamped DSP.

I also took the opportunity to utilise the coordinating framelits, not only do they have match perfectly with the stamps, there a few extra dies to create these wonderful fancy cut outs.

If you would like to see the set in a little more detail and exactly how I made the box - click HERE to view my video tutorial.

I hope you enjoy it and if you recieved one of these sets, I hope you liked it too.

Papillon Potpourri and Gorgeous Grunge Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products.

Papillon Potpourri and Gorgeous Grunge Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products.

I have been featuring a lot of new products recently so I thought it would be a nice time to revisit some of my old favourite sets.

This box is based on one of the first ever cards I made when I discovered Stampin' Up. I just love the mix of Gorgeous Grunge and Papillon Potpourri - it is so bright an colourful.

I originally designed the box as I had brought a friend a gorgeous necklace at an artisan market - but it came in a cheap looking plastic bag. I wanted something that would make it look a little more special and so this is what I came up with.

I was sending out a little gift to a lovely member of my team that is doing so well at the moment - and this box worked perfectly for that too :)

And of course I had to make a matching card.

Slider Opening Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Moroccan Nights by Stampin' Up

Slider Opening Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Moroccan Nights by Stampin' Up

I am so excited to be sharing this box with you today. I am really pleased with the way it turned out.

I have been seeing a lot of slider cards all over the internet recently. Stampin' Up have brought our some fabulous products to really simplify those WOW cards and I had an idea floating around in my head about using the slider idea as a clasp on a box - well, today's project is the culmination of those thoughts.

The box opens by sliding the circular clasp on the top to one side - it might sound complicated but it is really simple and really lifts a simple gift box to be something special.

You can watch my video HERE to see just how it works and how easy it is to create.

I've decorated the box using the Moroccan Nights Stamp Set. This set has been calling my name for a little while and I was doing well with resisting but finally temptation got the better of me.

I am not disappointed!

I love the intricate patterns and think they look amazing heat embossed in Gold here.

I orignially made the box using Emerald Envy card stock, as you'll see in the video, I then made another using Elegant Eggplant. I am not sure which one I prefer - I think they are both very elegant and hopefully would make the most simple of gift really something special.

HERE is the video tutorial if you'd like to make your own version. If you do give it a go, I'd love to see your intepretation.
