Floral Phrases Hand Stamped DSP Gift Bag - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products

Floral Phrases Hand Stamped DSP Gift Bag - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products

As regular readers will know, I am a big fan of using stamping to create DSP style looks. Usually I stamp a very random pattern but recently I've been experimenting with more regular patterns like with the Paisleys and Posies box I shared recently.

For this box I've used the stunning large image from the Floral Phrases stamp set and Emerald Envy ink - fast becoming my favourite colour. I've stamped a repeating pattern and I think the result is quite striking.

Once I'd made the paper I turned it into a decent sized gift box and have used two ribbons, threaded through the lid to keep it closed, making it even more striking.

If you'd like to see how I made the box and the hand stamped paper - click HERE to view my video.

Cookie Cutter Christmas Santa Tall Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products

Cookie Cutter Christmas Santa Tall Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products

It is a long time since I dusted off my embossing folders but when I first made this box, there was just something missing.

I couldn't put my finger on just what it needed and then I had the light bulb moment of using the Stars embossing folder on the lid - don't you think it just gives that extra something.

I apologise for my poor colouring skills - you'll see exactly why when you watch the video.

The box is a really good size and I just love the way it has turned out, hope you like it too.

Christmas Cheer Christmas Card with Tin of Tags

Christmas Cheer Christmas Card with Tin of Tags

I just loved the Emerald Envy and Delightful Dijon colour combination I shared on Friday, it inspired me to create this card using a similar colour theme.

I've picked out two of the colours from my ever favourite Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack, Garden Green and Delightful Dijon.

Some easy layering and a lovely sentiment from the Tin of Tags stamp set - I have mentioned how useful this set is before haven't I, finished off this card perfectly.

Quick and Easy Washi Tape Mini Album - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Products

Quick and Easy Washi Tape Mini Album - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Products

I love today's project - probably in a big part because it features my children - but it is so easy to put together and looks so effective.

I did make this with the intention of giving it as a gift to my mum but now I've made it I am kind of thinking I will keep it for myself!

People often ask to see a recent picture of the children and this seems a much nicer way of doing it than passing over my phone.

The use of Washi Tape for hinges is so quick but so effective.

If you're ready to see how I made it, just click HERE to view the video and I apologise if I am a little overly enthuiastic - I did say I loved the project at the start.

Paisleys and Poseys Thank You Card

Paisleys and Poseys Thank You Card

Thank you to everybody that commented on this lovely box I sent out to my September customers with their Thank You gifts.

I think it is safe to say that the box went down well with both customers and blog readers alike.

If you missed that post - check it out HERE.

Today I am sharing the matching card that I made.

I used the same masking technique as for the box to leave that lovely strip where I stamped the 'thanks' from cottage greetings.

The colours are the same as for the box, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake.

I really do appreciate every Stampin' Up order placed through my store and hope the card and the gifts help show my customers just how much.

Merriest Wishes Gift Tag Gift Set - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Merry Tags Framelits

Merriest Wishes Gift Tag Gift Set - Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up Products

I just love the way this box turned out - it is a really pretty box in its own right. It would be a lovely way to present some jewellry or even just a gift card but I took this really pretty box and turned it into a little way of gifting some beautiful gift tags.

My thoughts were that you combine the decorative tags; made using the Merry Tags framelits and some of the stunning Copper foil sheets; with the plainer To and From tag and tie them together with the Kraft Rope.

The box and the tags themselves are all really easy to make - if you'd like to see exactly how I did it click HERE to view the YouTube video tutorial.

Paisleys and Poseys Gift Box - September Customer Thank You Gift - Video Tutorial

Paisleys and Poseys Gift Box - September Customer Thank You Gift - Video Tutorial

As you hopefully know by now, each month I send out a little thank you pack to all my lovely customers who shopped on line with me the preceeding month.

I always like to handmake some special packaging to send out their gift and this is what I came up with this month. A cute little box decorated using the lovely Paisleys and Poseys stamp set.

I just love this colour combination, Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake and Rich Razzleberry.

The box housed a tub of embelishments, I sent out a selection across all of my customers along with the Holly Jolly Layers Stamp Set.

If you would like to recieve a gift like this next month, just place a Stampin' Up order through my on-line store or drop me a message and I'll be in touch to help you place an order in person.

Congratulations Card using Designer Tin of Tags by Stampin' Up

Congratulations Card using Designer Tin of Tags by Stampin' Up

A little while ago I ran a competition on my blog to win a Stamp Set and matching Die.

Of course I had to make a matching card and gift tag to send the prize out to the lucky winner, the lovely Mavis.

The sentiment here is very apt and comes from the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set - don't over look this set in the catalogue, it is a great sentiment set - you don't need to just use it with the corresponsing kit.

The lovely swirly wreath also come from the same stamp set.

My colour combination, Mint Macaron and Tip Top Taupe.

Falling Flowers Large Gift Bag with Magnetic Closure - Video tutorial using Stampin' Up products.

Falling Flowers Large Gift Bag with Magnetic Closure - Video tutorial using Stampin' Up products.

I've decided to take a break from all the recent Christmas projects. I just fancied having a play with some of my older sets and I caught myself singing Carols in the supermarket this week so need to reign in the Christmas spirit a bit!

I found myself reaching for Falling Flowers which I haven't used for a good few months and this rather large gift bag was what I came up with.

There is a magnet hidden under the flower embelishment which is made using the matching May Flower framelits.

There is something quite satisfying about the way the magnet snaps the bag closed.

I made a Bermuda Bay version initially and the a Real Red version in the video.

Speaking of the video - click HERE to see how I made this - it is pretty simple I think.

Hello - Handmade Card with Vintage Leaves by Stampin' Up

Hello - Handmade Card with Vintage Leaves by Stampin' Up

I think it is safe to say that Autumn is definately here.

There is a chill in the air and the jumpers are well and truely out of the wardrobe plus I am working on getting my husband to put the heating on!

It is therefore apt that I am sharing a gift tag and card I made recently which also have an autumnal feel to them.

I dug out Vintage Leaved to make this card and matching gift tag to send out to a lovely customer of mine who recently decided to take the plunge and become a demonstrator. I was absolutely thrilled she choose to join my team and can't wait to see where her Stampin' Up journey takes her.

It was also nice to get out some of my autumnal colours again. Cajun Craze isn't a colour I used often but it is such a perfect autumn colour.

I really hope the card and gift went down well.

Pyramid Gift Box using Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack by Stampin' Up Video Tutorial.

Pyramid Gift Box using Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack by Stampin' Up Video Tutorial.

These little pyramid boxes are so easy to make from a small 6 inch by 4 inch peice of designer series paper.

They are a really great size and would hold a lot of sweet treats, they are even big enough for a gift card.

I've made mine to stand up but you would extend the ribbon and make a loop and they would hang perfectly from your Christmas tree.

I've used my current favourite Warmth and Cheer DSP stack - can't stop using it! The lovely decorations all come from the Warmest Wishes Stamp Set and matching framelits - expect to see more of this set very soon.

A little bit of the silky taffeta ribbon finishes them off beautifully I think.

Of course there is a YouTube video if you would like to give making your own version a go. Click HERE to watch, I hope you enjoy.

Jolly Friends 3 x 3 Card Gift Box, Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up products

Jolly Friends 3 x 3 Card Gift Box, Video Tutorial using Stampin' Up products

I've signed up to do a few Christmas Markets this year and I am determined not to have a last minute stock making panic (which of course has never happened in the past - honest!)

I've always found that little sets of cards always go down really well and I am hoping these little boxes continue that tradition.

I started by making a selection of 3 inch by 3 inch cards using the Jolly Friends stamp set and matching punch and then set about designing the box to house them. I'm quite pleased with the result.

Each box comfortably houses 6 cards; and these are well embellished cards; plus their matching envelopes.

I whipped up the envelopes using the Envelope Punch Board which is on special offer until tomorrow - 25% off!!!!!

As I am going to make quite a few of these ready for my markets, I designed the box to fold perfectly flat so they take up less storage space - clever :)

To have a go at making your own version check out my YouTube video HERE.

And of course, here is a closer look at the little cards themselves.
