Mini treat gift box Video Tutorial using Sealed With Love and Sending Love by Stampin' Up

Mini treat gift box Video Tutorial using Sealed With Love and Sending Love by Stampin' Up

I do love DSP stacks - I love the way you get so many lovely patterns in very usable 6inch by 6inch sheets.

The new Stampin' Up catalogue, which launches on 4th January has TWO new lovely stacks and today's project shows one of them, Sending Love, off perfectly.

I made these little treat boxes to send out to my customers with their copy of the new Spring Summer catalogue. Each box contains a little chocolate treat for them to munch on while flicking through the catalogue.

There are 12 patterns in the paper stack, all featuring the classic Real Red and Whisper White colour combination. Haven't decided which is my favourite yet - they are all gorgeous.

If you'd like to see how I made the box and have a closer look at the gorgeous paper stack click HERE for my video.

If you would like to recieve a copy of the new catalogue, it would be my pleasure to send one to you. Just click HERE to enter your details and I will pop one in the post.

Sweet little gift box using Lift Me Up by Stampin' Up - New Products!

Sweet little gift box using Lift Me Up by Stampin' Up

I wanted to send each member of my Stampin' Up team a little token Christmas gift and when I found some little mini-bath bombs in The Body Shop, I knew they would be perfect.

Of course the wrapping had to be Stampin' Up but rather than make a Christmas box, I thought I would use some new products so they would also get the gift of seeing them too.

These little boxes are the result.

I love the way they turned out - and I also set myself a challenge, I had to use Peek-a-boo Peach. A much neglected colour in my collection.

Doesn't it work so well with the Mint Macaron and Smokey Slate.

Confession - in the video I use, Basic Gray but I decided I preferred Smoky Slate so switched to that after the first few - let me know which you like best.

The balloon comes from the lovely Up and Away set which you can buy from 4th January, the paper is FREE during Sale-a-bration which runs 4th Jan-31st March, just spend £45 and it can be yours for FREE!

Anyway - if you would like to see the products in more detail and exactly how I made the box, click HERE.

Dragonfly Dreams Gift Box - New Stampin' Up Products Preview

Dragonfly Dreams Gift Box - New Stampin' Up Products Preview

As you are probably aware by now, Stampin' Up are launching a brand new catalogue in January - if you'd like a copy, click HERE.

Today's gorgeous box is made using one of my favourite new stamp sets, Dragonfly Dreams. It is a fab perk of being a demo that I get my hands on all these new goodies over 6 weeks before they launch. I've been itching to share some projects with you for a while now and just couldn't resist any longer.

This really is a stunning stamp set which I've used here to make this elegant printed paper look. Just look how detailed that stamped image is.

And just look at that gorgeous font for the really useful sentiments.

The stamp set also comes in a bundle with some coordinating framelit dies. It made cutting out the dragonfly for the tag so easy.

Elegant Narrow Gift box using Moroccan DSP from Stampin' Up.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on yesterday's card - simple but effective.

As promised, today I am sharing the matching gift bag that I sent out with the card. Small but very elegant, the gorgeous Moroccan DSP does all the work for you.

As I said yesterday, both the card and the gift box were made to send out to one of my lovely team members to celebrate her recent promotion. I love being part of the Stampin' Up family and I love it when members of my team are successful in their SU business too.

I'd love to help you start your SU journey too. My team is a lovely combination of ladies who have signed up purely to take advantage of the minimum 20% net discount on all their personal orders and those that, like me, are growing a business to fit around their lifestyle. If you'd like to know more, click HERE or drop me a line, I'd love to chat more - with no obligation of course.

Congratulations Card using Moroccan DSP by Stampin' Up

Congratulations Card using Moroccan DSP by Stampin' Up

I am very proud to have a small but growing team of Stampin' Up demonstrators. I think I make no secret of the fact that joining Stampin' Up is one of the best decisions I've ever made and I am always very excited when somebody chooses to be in my team and to start their own Stampin' Up adventure.

I am even more thrilled when they start to achieve their own Stampin' Up milestones and they really are on fire at the moment as I said earlier in the week. This is the card I made to one of my lovely team members who recently promoted.

I just love the simplistic elegance of the card. The Moroccan DSP is absolutely gorgeous isn't it and you know how I feel about Emerald Envy, stunning!!

When ever a member of my team promotes, they get to choose a stamp set as a congratulations from me but of course I have to send a little surprise as well. I made a matching gift box for the little surprise, come back tomorrow and I'll show you that in more detail.

Blooms and Bliss Handmade Thank You Card

Blooms and Bliss Handmade Thank You Card

I'm glad you all liked the box I shared yesterday, a bit of colour to brighten up a wintery day. If you missed that post, click HERE to view it.

Now of course I had to make a card to accompany the gifts I was sending out and these are what I created.

They are so simple to make. I used all the little bits of Blooms and Bliss DSP I had left after making the boxes and cut them into 1-1/2inch squares. I then arranged four randomly on the front of a Stampin' Up note card and added a sentiment stamped using the coordinating Blooms and Wishes stamp set onto a circle cut out using the fabulous Stitched Shapes Framelits.

After I had made them all; Alex kept me company while I wrote them all out.

Blooms and Bliss Gift Box - Customer Thank You Gift

Blooms and Bliss Gift Box - Customer Thank You Gift

The gorgeous Blooms and Bliss DSP and matching Blooms and Wishes stamp set are recent additions to my craft room but the moment I got my hands on them I fell in love.

I am so pleased with how well they went together to create these gorgeous gift boxes which I sent out to all my November Stampin' Up customers.

The Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies, I used for the centre circle on the belly band were so popular when they launched that they are currently unorderable until stock levels are built up again - currently estimated to be mid-January.

I am truely so grateful to everybody that chooses to order Stampin' Up products from me and hope the little gift I send out every month goes a little way to showing that appreciation.

This month, everybody who had shopped with me in November recieved a copy of the fun Pun Intended stamp set and two reels of gorgeous glitter ribbon - this ribbon is so lovely in real life, it is so glittery, my 4 year old daughter loves it and it keeps disappearing into her room! It is actually reduced in the current Close Out sale - so stock up at a bargain price before it goes forever.

Awesome Card using Pun Intended and Moroccan Washi Tape

Awesome Card using Pun Intended and Moroccan Washi Tape

My team of Stampin' Up demonstrators are on fire at the moment.

It is so lovely to see the way they are all growing their business or utalising the discount they recieve on all orders for their own crafting.

It is a real pleasure to be able to send them all a congratulatory gift and matching card to celebrate all of their promotions.

Today is the card I sent to the lovely Katrina who's business is going from strength to strength. Katrina offers crafting classes in the Spaulding, Lincolnshire area - if you're in the area you can find out more HERE.

This card is a bit of a departure from my usual style but I really like the way it has turned out

I've used the Moroccan Washi Tape to create bold stripes across the card and then a sentiment from Pun Intended.

As well as the card, whenever a team member promotes they can choose a stamp set of their choice as a congratulations gift from me - Katrina chose Brushwork Alphabet which I used with Friday's project - I also like to send a little surprise something. So I popped the surprise in a glassine bag and made a pretty matching tag.

If you would like to know more about joining Stampin' Up - be it to take advantage of the 20% minimum net discount on your own orders or, like Katrina and me, build your own business, I would love to tell you more. Let me know if you'd like to have a no obligation chat or click HERE to read a bit about my story and the fantastic opportunity.

Table Place Setting with Hidden Chocolate - Video Tutorial using Star of Light by Stampin' Up

Table Place Setting with Hidden Chocolate - Video Tutorial using Star of Light by Stampin' Up

Today's project was a request from one of my lovely team members. Kim asked if I could design a Christmas Day place setting and of course I had to oblige.

I am actually somehow hosting 14 people on Christmas Day! You know, you invite a lot of people assuming most would already have plans and then it turns out that they don't!

Because of this I wanted to keep the design relatively simple so that I could replicate it easily but of course Stampin' Up products bring the wow factor. I hope you like the end result Kim.

Emerald Envy is my absolute favourite green of the moment and I've used it here with Real Red - such a bright combination. Brushwork alphabet was perfect for the name tag. It is a photopolymer set so lining up is really easy.

Kim also had the brilliant suggestion of encorporating an after dinner mint - wasn't that an inspired idea.

Just pull up the ribbon after your meal and out pops an After Eight mint. Now can we talk about After Eights for a minute. It must be years since I last had some and I really don't remember them being quite as yummy as they are - I might have sampled quite a few.

The finishing touch comes from the gorgeous die from the Starlight set. I am so pleased that this set is carrying over from the Christmas Catalogue - this is by far my favourite stamp and die set of the moment.

If you would like to make your own version, of course I have a YouTube video for you. Check it out HERE

Home Made Apple and Mango Chutney Recipe

On Friday I shared a video on how to make a beautiful box to house a jar of my home made apple and mango chutney. Click HERE to watch it if you missed it last time.

I mentioned that last year I had made a video on how to make the chutney.

Lots of people asked me to share it - so, your wish is my command and HERE it is.

I hope you enjoy it and if you do give it a go, love the chutney as much as we do.

I will be back on Friday with a great papercraft project.

A Bit of Summer in December - Artful Stampers and Pootlers Blog Hop

When I heard about this blog hop with the Artful Stampers, I just had to take advantage of the fact that Australia is heading into Summer and do some colourful crafting. Anybody else feel like they have been crafting with Christmas colours forever?

I stamped the flower from Fruit Stand randomly across the front of my card in Delightful Dijon, Rose Red and Pacific Point.

I followed this up by stamping the outlines in Versamark and then heat embossing using different colours of embossing powder - Gold, Silver and my current fave, Copper.

I'm really pleased with how the effect works out.

It takes a pretty simple card design and really adds a wow factor.

OK - enough from me, do go and check out what everybody else has been up to, there is so much inspiration being shared today.

Large Gift Box with Perfect Pines and Merriest Tags

Today's project is a really good sized gift box - I designed it to hold a jar of my homemade Mango Chutney - the best chutney in the world - but you could fit so many other things in there.

Quite a few of the items I have used to create this project are being offered at amazing prices at the moment as part of the Clear Out Sale running all month or until stock last - which won't be very long I don't think in some cases - things are already selling out!
