Tag Topper Gift Box - Video Tutorial using Happy Birthday, Gorgeous by Stampin' Up

It is so wet and miserable here at the moment, it feels like autumn has come early. If you have any sun at the moment, could you send some to me please.

These cute little boxes are a little ray of sunshine though, bright and cheerful, they just make me smile.

The box construction is pretty simple, you can see just how simple in my video tutorial HERE

I love using the Tag Topper Punch to create a clever closure.

The decoration is all hand stamped with one of the little flowers in Happy Birthday, Gorgeous - one of my current favourite stamp sets.

I think it is the stripy ribbon which just screams summer to me.

Doesn't it just finish off the box beautifully - and Stampin' Up being Stampin' Up, it all coordinates perfectly!

Tranquil Tulips from Stampin' Up Card Inspiration

A pretty simple card to share with you all today showcasing the wonderful Tranquil Tulips stamp set.

This set really is stunning - it gives gorgeous results with very little effort.

I am really enjoying playing around with lots of different colours for the tulips. There are lots of different techniques you can try as well.

In this case I have gone pretty simple with just Real Red for one flower, I haven't stamped off twice or anything like that. The second flower is Crushed Curry first and then Calypso Coral.

The leaves are stamped in Old Olive and I have finished with a strip of coordinating Old Olive mini chevron ribbon tied with a little linen thread.

The sentiment is from Beautiful Bouquet - I am really loving the versatility of this set.

Now remember that Tranquil Tulips is usually only available if you place a Stampin' Up order over £150 or host a party with sales exceeding that same amount.

However, I am sending a brand new set to all of my customers who shop with me in July as part of their thank you pack.

And remember you will recieve a £4.50 voucher to spend in August from Stampin' Up for every £45.00 you spend in July

If you live in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France or Austria, you can shop Stampin' Up on line with me HERE and receive this set as a thank you from me in early August.

Magnetic Monogrammed Note Book Journal - Video Tutorial Using Falling Flowers by Stampin' Up

I was standing in Paperchase the other day just about to buy a magnetic note book when I caught myself on and realised I could make one for much less than the £8.99 I was just about to spend!

I grabbed 3 A6 note books in Tescos for just 79p and set about making my version using some nano craft magnets that I had already at home - these are really thin at just 1mm thick, you will have seen me use these before. Just search nano craft magnet on ebay and you will find plenty of venders.

I made one for me in Elegant Eggplant and one for a friend using Berry Burst. It was really easy to monogramme them using the Large Letters Framelits and matching Letters for You stamp set.

The gorgeous swirling pattern is  all hand stamped - so easy to do and yet so effective, using the beautiful Falling Flowers stamp set.

Whole Lot of Lovely Customer Thank You Cards with Pretty Label Punch

Every month I send out a thank you gift and hand made card to everybody that has shopped with me the predeeding month.

Today I wanted to share with you the cards I sent out to all of my lovely June customers.

The sentiment is really quite apt - I do think all my customers are the best and it makes a nice change to 'Thank You'.

It comes from the Label Me Pretty stamp set which, as you can see, coordinates perfectly with the Pretty Label punch.

Remember you can buy the stamp set and the punch together as a bundle and save 10%.

I have used two of the more subtle but equally very pretty patterns from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP.

Popping the DSP up on a strip of complimentary colour card stock really makes the paper stands out.

The base of these cards is the very useful, ever useful in fact Whisper White note cards, which meant whipping up a big batch of these was really quick and easy.

Magazine Style Storage Box - Ideal for DSP Stacks - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Tempting Tulips

I love today's project, it is both practical and pretty - win win win.

You may have noticed that the new DSP stacks from Stampin' Up no longer come with the pages stuck together.

Great - no longer do you have to worry about ripping one when you tear it off but storage is a little harder.

Step in this gorgeous magazine style storage box.

I have decorated the box using Tranquil Tulips - this set is causing quite a stir and I can absolutely see why - it is so pretty!

This is a hostess set - which ordinarily means that you have to spend £150 or host a workshop with sales over £150 in order to get your hands on it.

A lot of you have been in touch to ask if there was an easier way to get your hands on it - or if I might consider making it one of my thank you gifts.

Well - you asked and I listened - shop with me in July and this stamp set will be winging its way to you along with another little something in early August as a Thank you gift from me.

There is no catch, it isn't a competition, everybody that shops with me in July will recieve a set!

I normally keep exactly what I am going to send as a Thank You gift a secret but as so many of you asked for this set, I didn't want anybody to miss out.

Back to the box - well it is a really good size, mine is holding 4 pretty full DSP stacks right now but there is probably room for at least another one, if not two more.

I have made some very cute little dividers to help me keep each stack separated. It also gave me the perfect excuse to try out the new tab punch - doesn't it make them look so professional.

Elegant Scalloped Gift Box with Beautiful Bouquet - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Products

I do love using stamps to make give the look of DSP.

I know I have had a recent infatuation for with real DSP recently but I think my heart still belongs to my hand stamped versions.

For this box I have used two of the lovely images from Beautiful Bouquet stamped on Very Vanilla card stock.

I love the scalloped edge on the lid - this looks so pretty and is so easy to make using one of the dies in the Seasonal Layers Framelits.

The sentiment is also from Beautiful Bouquet - this is a really great all round set. I have popped it up using my constant favourite Stitched Shapes Framelit dies.

My colour combinations? Powder Pink with Fresh Fig and So Saffron with Tempting Tide.  Which do you prefer?

You can take a closer look and see just how easy this box is to make by clicking HERE

Label Me Pretty Card Inspiration - Pretty Label Punch by Stampin' Up

Another day and another card I made to congratulate members of my team.

This time I needed cards for some lovely ladies who had recently promoted with Stampin' Up for reaching sales milestones.

I am always so thrilled when somebody promotes, joining Stampin' Up has brought so many great things to my life and it is lovely to see the same happening to members of my team too.

I've used some of the Stampin' Up Note Cards as the base for this card. I always have a few of these on hand as they make putting a card together really quick.

I love a good punch and matching Stamp Set and I am thrilled there are so many in the new catalogue.

Here I used the Label me Pretty stamp set and matching Pretty Label punch - buy them together for a 10% discount.

Powder Pink and Fresh Fig look so lovely together don't they.

2nd Year Congratulations Card with Color Theory DSP and Large Numbers Framelits from Stampin' Up

Rachael, one of my team of lovely SimplyStylishStampers, recently celebrated her second year as a Stampin' Up demonstrator. You might know Rachael from her YouTube channel, Caramel & Cream.

Of course a card and a little gift to say congratulations was in order.

I have used the amazing Large Numbers framelits and matching Number of Years stamp set - they are so useful.

The lovely Dapper Demim ombre DSP and the crackle glaze look DSP from behind the number 2 both come from the colourful seasons DSP pack.

The paint splatter effect is actually stamped - there is a very useful splatter stamp in Swirly Bird.

I think the card turned out quite manly but hopefully still pretty enough to wish congratulations to a very lovely lady.
