Large Numbers Gift Box using Inside the Lines by Stampin' Up

Large Numbers Gift Box using Between the Lines by Stampin' Up

Shall I tell you a funny story?

I made these boxes to send out to three lovely members of my Stampin' Up team who celebrated their first year anniversary as demonstrators in January.

I made two in advance and then the third during the video. I actually made the first two before the gifts had arrived so I just stuffed them with some bubble wrap so they wouldn't get crushed while I stored them.

Fast forward a few weeks and of course I sent out two of the boxes without the gifts - cue puzzled emails from the ladies thanking me for the box but politely asking if there should have been anything inside!

Can I blame baby brain when Alex is nearly 7 months old?

Anyway - onto the box. I am really pleased with how these turned out. I have used the gorgeous Inside the Lines DSP which you can get for FREE at the moment! Click HERE to find out how.

I also love the pop of colour from the bakers twine and the number, created using the Large Number's framelits - watch the video HERE to see an easy technique to build up that depth.

I made three different colours, Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush and Melon Mambo - I think all three look great - do you have a favourite?

Of course I had to make a matching card - come back and see that tomorrow.

If you would like to know more about joining Stampin' Up and how you can get your hands on nearly £200 of products for just £99 - don't hesitate to get in touch, I would love to have you join my team.

Star Top Gift Box using Sealed with Love by Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

Star Top Gift Box using Sealed with Love by Stampin' Up - Video Tutorial

Today's project is a gorgeous gift box made with a folding techinque which is really simple to achieve but gives a really interesting, faceted finish to the box.

It is really hard to explain - so I won't even try, you'll see just how easy yet effective it is in my video.

I've kept the decoration really simple to let the box design do all the talking but I do love the elegant combination here of Real Red and Whisper White and a few wooden emblishments.

Everything on the project today comed form the Sending Love suite in the new Spring/Summer catalogue. The stamp is from Sent With Love - a really amazing value stamp set!

So In Love Gift Bag with Stitched Shapes Framelits - Perfect for Wedding Favours, Video Tutorial.

So In Love Gift Bag with Stitched Shapes Framelits - Perfect for Wedding Favours, Video Tutorial.

I am so pleased to be able to share that the Stitched Shapes Framelits are now back in stock and can be ordered again.

When they launched in November they proved so popular that several months of supply sold in just a few weeks!

I know a few of you missed out - thank you for your patience and click HERE to order them now.
They are really useful dies, I find myself reaching for them time and time again - including for this project where I have used one of the oval shapes to make a flap to keep this cute little gift bag closed.

The card stock is hand stamped using the beautiful So In Love stamp set, in Sweet Sugar Plum - the sentiment comes from the same set - I love that curly font.

Dragonfly Dreams Hinged Slip Lid Gift Box - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up products

Dragonfly Dreams Hinged Slip Lid Gift Box - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up products

I love sharing my projects here and on You Tube and I am especially thrilled when that sharing results in somebody choosing to shop Stampin' Up with me.

I really do appreciate every order and my way of showing that is to send a thank you gift to every customer, the month after they place their order. I use the hostess rewards accumulation to help me do this so please remember to enter the hostess code from the top right of my blog if your order is less than £150.

I also love making a special gift box for everybody too - it honestly is one of the highlights of my month.

The box I designed for last month uses one of possibly my favourite stamp sets from the new catalogue .- Dragonfly Dreams, I just can't stop using it!

It has quite a clever opening mechanism and I must admit that the version I share in the video is a slight improvement on what I sent out to customers - I hope they worked it out however

One of my New Year resolutions is to try and use a wider variety of colours - so in the video I use Always Articoke and Delightful Dijon - but I really mixed up the colour combinations for my customers. I hope you liked the combination you recieved.

Large Handmade Gift Box with Special Reason by Stampin' Up

As a Stampin' Up demonstrator, I've been lucky enough to play with all of the lovely new products that launched last week for a few months now.

I still haven't decided which set is my favourite but Special Reason and the matching dies certainly makes the short list.

I think this is a bit of a sleeper set - I know a lot of people missed this set on first glance through the catalogue but hopefully this project shows just how lovely it really is.

Falling in Love Wrapped Large Gift Box - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Products

Falling in Love Wrapped Large Gift Box - Video Tutorial with Stampin' Up Products

Firstly I want to thank everybody for the patience on Wednesday when the Stampin' Up computer systems crashed on the first day of the new catalogues and Sale-A-Bration.

I know a lot of you were left very frustrated and I know I certainly was, when technology fails, it tends to do it pretty spectacullarly doesn't it.

Everything now seems to be back up and running correctly so if you do want to take advantage of the wonderful Sale-A-Bration offers and get your hands on brand new product click HERE to order now!

Ok - on to today's project.

The new Falling in Love suite of products are just beautiful, the DSP in particular is so gorgeous - I just had to show it off on today's project and in full during the video.

People say you go through stages in life and we are certainly at the wedding stage at the moment, we've two in April alone so I know these stamps are going to get a good work out.

Rather than stick on panels of DSP to decorate the box, I've wrapped half in the beautiful paper, I love the effect it gives.

I've also stamped the sentiment onto a small off cut of the same DSP - I don't think I have tried stamping on DSP before but I think it looks really good here - and isn't that font beautiful.

'

For that closer look at the DSP and to see how the box is made and wrapped, click HERE to view my video.
