I had never seen myself as a 'crafter' until I decided, quite randomly, that I wanted to make my own wedding stationary.
I quickly learnt just how much pleasure could be derived from creating something so personal and unique. I am now most certainly a crafter!
Crafting is also the perfect countenance to my 'very corporate' day job, the perfect way to relax after a stressful day in the office.
I'm originally a Geordie, living within sight of the Tyne for 18 years before moving to Manchester for University where I lived for nearly 16 years (was it really that long?) before recently heading back up North.
I'm a mum to the gorgeous Eva and baby Alex who arrived in July, and wife to the equally gorgeous Christian (well I think so anyway!).
Life is pretty busy so I need my crafting to produce fantastic results in minimal time.
I fell in love with Stampin' Up products on first sight - the coordination of colours, stamps, punches and dies makes creating beautiful projects so simple.
I signed up to become a Stampin' Up demo because I was buying so much stuff to work on my wedding stationary I wanted to take advantage of the 20% net discount all demonstrators receive.
After the wedding I realised I had inadvertently showcased Stampin' Up to lots of friends and family many of whom wanted know more and they actually started buying from me!

My Stampin' Up business has evolved from there and now more than covers the cost of my hobby and is paying for some extra treats for the family and for me!
I feel truly honoured when anybody chooses me as their Stampin' Up Demo or when they choose to join my growing team of demonstrators.
When not crafting, I am usually engaging in my other passion, food! As a family, we really love an afternoon spent in the kitchen.
